What a Night - The CPW Ball 2006

WOW WOW WOW!
So finally the day many Carphone Employees wait for - The Annual Ball - came around. I had the weekend off work, been to see Charlton and drove to the hotel I had booked for me and Dan (from training) in Finchley, North London, very excited!
We got ourselves ready and got in a taxi to the venure - Alexandra Palace. It looked sweet from the outside with green lights everywhere, CPW logo and all that. We made our way inside and it was huge! 3 rooms - Chinatown, Bollywood and (RED). It was quality. Bollywood was the biggest - it had a funfair! We saw Tzuri from training in this room too!
After mingling with Dan (from Guildford) we met Hayley from training and had a chat. Then myself and Dan went on the funfair spin around ride - we wanted to get it out of the way before getting too drunk! It was really good and it seemed to go on for aggges! We got some food and then I met up with Talie, someone who I randomly email. She was beautiful! On the way we saw Charles Dunstone the CEO and shook his hand and said thanks - was well good and psyched me up!
So we went around with Talie for a bit and chatted and smoked and drinked! LOL it was fun.
Over the course of the night I met Rich from Training; Kev from my store; Ash and Ant from Horsham; Nick former assistant manager from G1, Tris from Brighton, John McQuarrie former area manager, Sarah Crawley Manager, Aaron from Brighton, Si from What Mobile Forums, Phil from What Mobile Forums, Bob from training, Cat from my store, Susie and Naomi from Dans Store!
Was so good, I was so excited. At midnight Charles Dunstone gave a speech and then his number 2 Andy Harrison introduced Jamiroquai as the main act. They were amazing, JayKay is such a performer!
After this me and Dan got more bladdered and finally Kate turned up. Was really good to see her despite her being pissed off because the driver of her bus was shit! lol. But we chilled, got pissed with her.
I chatted to so many random people but I didnt care! I will remember a song from the night - smack that by Akon because I heard it a couple of times, danced crappily to it, but it was quality! The amount of gorgeous women there was immence aswell!
The night was great, I had so much fun meeting all my mates again and news ones, it was sad to see it over. It was a mission to get a taxi, but eventually we found one and got back to the hotel - at 0615 am! We had to be out the hotel by 1100am!
What a quality time!
