2004 - What A Year!

I have started the year at one School and finished it at another - College. Exams, work experience and tonnes of other stuff has happened.

January - Mock Exams - came back from Christmas and I was straight into the mocks at Eltham. They werre tough and I didn't do as well as I hope I would have. Probably had a few detentions :P Scott Parker signs for Chelsea for £10 million - Judas!

February - Not much except tonnes of courseworks an boring lessons at School - Oh how I miss those! Arranged for me to go to Canada in the summer. I need glasses so I got two pairs from Specsavers!

March - I'm 16 at last! My life is rolling sooooooooo quickly. Had a great Birthday - went to see Charlton vs Middlesbrough and we won 1 - 0 through a Matty Holland wonder goal - not to be forgotten. Some great presents from Mum and Dad, especially my CAFC shirt with Holland's name and number on the back - must have been the luck of my shirt that he scored! Had a great meal with a surprise appearance from Aunty B, Uncle Ray, Suzanne and Aly turning up to Chois! Great night! Rang up Margarita on Capital FM and she said hi to them and thanks for a great night on the Radio - one of my many appearances! Sad, I know! Talking about Capital, I managed to get myself some work experience with them! Also I was invited to a Media Open day at Capital, where we were told about the running of Capital in their board room, had a tour around, went into the FM studio and met Neil Bentley who was on the air!

April - Uncle Nigel came over from Canada with my beloved 15GB iPod! Its great and I got such a great deal on it! I had a few trips up to London - one of them being a visit to James Cannon's show on Capital FM. I spoke to him at the Media open day and he said I could come and see the show. I got some pics courtesy of my sister who took them from the CapitalFM.com webcam! I'm Famous! The day I went up was the day Chris Tarrant left the breakfast show. JC and his producer Jamie were really nice! More Bloody Revision for my GCSE's!

May - I went on CD:UK with my mate Kavi. It was great - Emma Bunton and Lost Prophets were on! It was recorded for the next weekend! Got the lead singer's autograph and shook hands with the band! We went to the Bicheno's caravan for the first time - and how nice was that! It was a great weekend. We watched the CD:UK on Saturday morning, and in the afternoon, Suzanne, Me and Uncle Ray crowding round Score on BBC Sport seeing Charlton relegate Leeds and come back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3! Yet more revision. Charlton finished 7th overall in the Premier League - our best ever!

June - Exams have started! An intensive timetable, but I officially had finished lessons at Eltham! I thought I had screwed some of the exams up and felt really bad about some of them. But they were done, and out of the way, and I could look forward to my work experience at Capital - which started on the 28th. I left the boading house forever! SHEEYA YARNOLD! My week at Capital was great - working in XFM, the Capital music library, Capital Gold, Reception - great people there- Harry, Ryan, Hayley, Junior, Pete! I also saw sooooo many DJ's like Christian O'Connell, Johnny Vaughan, Dr Fox, I even was allowed into the XFM studio to watch Alex Zane do his drivetime show which was sooooooooooo cool! I met a really good mate on the week - Sam. How much free stuff did I get! I met one of the Actresses from Dream Team when I was going to pick up some CD's for Capital! England got knocked out of the Euro 2004 finals by Portugal - bloody ref Urs Meier. I dyed my hair blonde!

July - more work experience - this time at 102.7 Mercury FM where I had another great time. Chris Oxlade and Andrew Dancey the DJ's were great and always allowed me into the studio for a chat. I went out in the Black Thunder promo veichle with Katy TJ alot which was cool. After that I went down to stay the weekend with the Bicheno's as I was going to Party In The Park in London. I went with my good mate Joel and we had a really good time! Great Acts, especially Sean Paul and Lenny Kravitz! I then went on Holiday down to the Caravan with Mum, Dad and Olivia. I got the train and met this really nice girl called Laura and got chatting! It was a great 2 weeks - played loads of tennis! Hell Yeah!

August - Canada Stylee! What a great 2 weeks I had with Uncle Nigel and Aunt Linda in Langley - BC. I met a nice canadian girl on the way over called Brittni who I still chat to now! I saw the BC Lions play Canadian Football which was such a great atmosphere. We went fishing where I caught a Salmon - amazing! Went to one of Dad's old manager's restaurant - The Blue Water Cafe in Vancouver - Yale Town where we had the best sushi ever. 20 MINIT sushi as one take away said! Great food etc etc when I was there, played a lot of golf, which was great, but it was sooooo nice to see Mum and Dad again after 2 weeks waiting for me at Gatwick Airport - with a sign - SOOOOOOO EMBARRASING! The flights were crampt though - Air Transat - not very good! Applied for a Job at Sainsbury's - new store opening in Cranleigh. Got It! Well Pleased!
GCSE's grades. So me and Joel went to see Charlton vs Aston Villa the night before to calm our nerves, we won 3-0 with Francis Jeffers scoring twice - and celebrating right infont of us! We stayed at his house and were really nervous. We went to Eltham on the morning before and everyone there was soooo nervous! I got the envalope and opened them - 1 A*, 1 A, 7 B's. I couldn't believe it. I was so emotional. Mum and Auntie Bernadette were on the fone crying they were soooo happy. Dad was chuffed as well as Aly and Suzanne. I will never forget that moment! No one could believe it. A day I will never forget. I met up with Sam.

September - So I started work at Sainsbury's and the Store Manager is a complete twat! My manager Terry is really nice! I started at Godalming College and it was really daunting on the first day, but I made friends with Matt and soon made friends with Ollie, Radar, Katy, Emma and Helen! I met Chris L on the Sainsburys induction. I was taking French, ICT, Media Studies and Business

October - Lots of College work now pouring in - made friends with Graham and John from media where we work in a group. Also made friends with Kylie and Lizzie. I dropped French and joined Fitness First gyms in Godalming. I bought a three mobile phone - really cool! Ollie, Radar, Daryl, Chris, Me, Sam and Joel went to MTV TRL tv show where Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy Vampire Slayer - fit!), Sharon Osbourne (and Tabby and Cassie Xfactor Finalists) and Tony Hawk were on! Such a cool day. We also went to see the Carling Cup CAFC vs Palace match where we lost 2-1 despite scoring in 10 mins! When I watched TRL you could hear Chris going "UGGGGHH"!

November - Went to the Cranleigh Fireworks with Ollie and Radar! Really good. End of month we went to Max Power London - sooo cool. So many amazing cars. Met Kerri Parker, Michelle Marsh and Lucy Pinder- glamour models! Really cool event - might go to the big event in Birmingham in July next year! Had a great night when Ollie and Maggot came to stay - played xbox and chatted. Got given a Supervisor Number at Sainsburys!

December - Chris and Me went to see Palace vs CAFC at Selhurst Park - we sat with the Charlton Fans. Deano saved a penalty in the 55th min. our fans went mental - almost as if we scored. It was 0-0 until the 92nd minute when Danny Murphy passed the ball to Dennis Rommedahl who took it to the edge of the box and hit it into the back on the net. We all went mental. I was shaking random people's hands. And jumping up and down on a ledge. Chris and I fell over when we scored! Chris Powell was in the Sky Sports studio and because he normally jumps out of the tunnel at the Valley when we win, he instead jumped in the studio! I'll always remember this match. We were walking to the station, and 2 CAFC fans in a car drove pass and tooted a football chant to me and chris and we shouted CHARLTON and they cheered! College finished and Matt and I went into Guildford! Bought so much stuff! Broke my bank! I went up 2 London to meet Joel and Sam - right laugh! Specially when me and Joel went into an electronics shop and I asked about the Samsung D500 to this Arabic man and you couldn't understand him, Joel burst out laughing and left the shop while I was still talking to this man trying to control myself. I was on my own in the shop! We left and laughed 4 about 30 mins! I went to Everton vs Charlton with Chris and Joel at the Valley - we won 2 - 0 El Karkouri and Hridarsson goals in '83th & '86th. Christmas Day was great - PS2 games galore! New years Eve was great - I was to pissed to remember it!!!

Thats About it! Here's to 2005

Heres to 2005!

One more thing - when I was walking to the station going home from boarding school, I saw Rio Ferdinand drive past in his blacked out 4X4. I knew it was him because the window was open and he went round a roundabout slowly! I couldn't believe it. It was when he was banned for missing a drugs test. He lived in Grove Park as a boy. I couldn't believe it!
