I'm back, ramblings of a Jet Setter
Myself and Matt took the long trip to Cardiff yesterday for the Media Careers Day! An early start with the train from Guildford to Reading (when we got on and Matt ate his sandwich this bloke was just staring at him which set us off laughing!!!) then Reading to Cardiff and we were in the Welsh capital greeted by rain! Before we got off the train Matt decided to pull my headfones out of my phone when this stupid song called 'Start Wearing Purple' played really loud and everyone looks at me, fucking funny tho! We wern't sure where the event was so we asked a Welsh bloke who shouted "OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH CCCCIIIIITTTTYYYY HALLL"!!! effing funny! The rain was dreadful so thankfully an outdoor shop selling umbrellas was on our way! The event was really interesting and given me more ideas for my career which is good. Everywhere we go there were beautiful welsh girls with their wicked accents!! We tried to visit the Millennium Stadium for a tour but some noobish school had booked all the tours up. idiots! So we had a wander around the outside a very nice stadium. I saw the place where the Dream Team finale was filmed which was cool. Getting on a bus was a mission to the Cardiff Bay area which had the Millennium Centre and Red Dragon FM Centre where we had a game of bowling, the game was tied with one each. Matt was obsessed with Mermaid quay which only had a tescos!! Had a pint in the bowling alley and made our way back to the station. We finished our trip to Cardiff, made our way home after a knackering day!
