"Future Sky Sports News anchor James Easton today conducted his first interview with Glenn Cockerill, Woking Town FC's manager"

Yes so I was thrown in at the deep end. Myself and Graham started filming our Media documentary coursework today at Woking Town FC's Kingfield stadium. Filming the atmosphere around the ground, players warming up etc with our press passes! All good!

Mike, the commercial director, asked us to film the interview with Glenn after the match which was to be done by the press. Cool, no pressure for us! Or thats what I thought!

A great match saw Welling take a 2 goal lead and going into half time 2-1 up. Second half saw Woking score twice and miss a penalty to win the match and go into the next round of the trophy. The ref gave so many yellow cards away and even booked a player warming up!

As soon as the game was over, we made our way to outside the changing area to film the interviews. The press were twats and said they don't want us filming their interviews and had to do our own.

SHIT!

So I had like 3 minutes to make up some questions and rehearse them until the interview took place. Improvisation was necessary. He came over and was like "are you ready?" Shit! I was soooo nervous!!

I felt that I did OK and Graham told me that I did a really good job and sounded really professional. A future Sky Sports presenter he said! Not the first to say that! All good! I was so relieved but felt I did well. Glenn shook hands and that was a wrap!

Great day!
